Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thus there is no beauty. Even to the one who,
Laughs, smiles, Jokes.

Amusement, not Enjoyment.
Distraction, not Satisfaction.
Tidbits of... to starve of the siege of boredom:
who sling diseased heads from catapults of idle fancy:

Of friends never to be,
Of Opportunities never taken,
Of Goals never met,

Of lights at the end of tunnels,
Light at one end, a collapse at the bend.

My song is of despair.
My song is bitterness, envy and spite,
Fire, ice and lightning.

My song is of a broken soul
Singing the requiem, in all it's broken bitterness,
In all it's bewitching beauty,

For love,
For what it never met.

My song is for all
For bitter old men, cursing
their revelation, cursing the truth,
seeing it only,
with one foot slipping,
soul following,

For Babes not born,
Empty sacks to heed the call of duty.
My song is for all,
For I sing the songs of Kings and Knaves alive:

All are equal, rolled in the dust and drenched in mundane blood.

Something I wrote, trying to explain the feelings I had visiting a Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition I saw.

Or rather, the lack of them.
